    Richard Bronson was born in New York City. He is a
    graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
    and New York University School of Medicine and
    currently works  at the Health Sciences Center, SUNY
    Stony Brook, New York. He is on editorial board of   
    Xanadu, the literary journal of the Long Island Poetry
    Collective, is the 2003 recipient of  the Poem of the Year
    award of the American College of Physicians, and has
    won the  Institute for Medicine in Contemporary Society
    Prize for Poetry in 2005
